2019 FLYATHLON EVENTS

I am pleased to announce the anticipated Flyathlon schedule for 2019.  We are working to finalize our permits and lock everything else up, and once we do, we will set an official registration opening date.  We are also working on establishing a couple of new events in 2019, and once details become available, they will be added to this site.

6th Annual Middle Creek Flyathlon

Because this race is a fundraising race, this year we have a required fundraising minimum of $200.  Money raised will go through Running Rivers and be put towards on-the-ground projects with a native trout focus within Colorado.  If you want to participate and this amount of fundraising is prohibitive, please send me an email with your rationale and we can try to work around it.

Yes, a trout fishing event in Iowa.  I was fortunate enough to be able to make it out to Iowa for 1st “Official” Driftless Area Flyathlon in 2017, and I have to say that this event was incredibly well organized by our Iowa Flyathlon crew.  Yellow River State Forest is beautiful, and the people who attend this event are wonderful.  If you are anywhere near Northeast Iowa, put this on your to do list ASAP.
